What is a SWMS?
A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a legal requirement for high-risk construction work (HRCW) as defined in WHS Regulations. It identifies hazards, assesses risks, and documents control measures.
High-Risk Construction Work
SWMS are required for work including:
- Work at height (risk of fall greater than 2m)
- Demolition and structural alterations
